Our Story

Primo Animal Health is a story of love for animals. Founded by husband and wife Casey and Nora Jones in response to the third love of their life, recently adopted Cabo – a Goldendoodle with a zest for life.

 

Like all pet parents, Casey and Nora had no idea how much they could love an animal until they brought Cabo into their home. Knowing that their dog’s lifespan would be a fraction of theirs they became determined, some would say obsessed, to find the best nutrition and health products available to enable as long and healthy a life as possible.

 

It turns out, there are a lot of companies selling a lot of stuff in fancy packages. The problem became, once looking really closely at what those products were made of… it was mostly marketing fluff and mediocre product. Worse yet, it was difficult to truly figure out what various products did for the pet, if they actually work and most importantly, if they are safe. After a thorough search, nothing met their standard of being good enough for their pet.

 

Driven by a passion for creating solutions to give their dog the best life possible, Primo Animal Health was formed and the best veterinarians, compounding pharmacists, canine nutritionists, chemists and animal experts were retained to formulate game changing products based on veterinary science to allow their dog and other animals to live the longest, healthiest, happiest life possible.

Leadership Team

Casey Jones, MBA | President

Casey is the President and founder of Primo Animal Health. He was driven to start the company in 2012 after adopting his golden doodle, Cabo and finding a lack of quality, science backed healthcare products for animals on the market. After a few years formulating and co-manufacturing branded products, Casey found there was an equally large void in the market for private label and custom manufacturing services that offer great service, quality product, fair minimum order quantities and deliver on time. This spurred him to transition the company to a full-service turnkey manufacturing partner. Leveraging his prior experience as the Operations Manager for two high tech manufacturing companies and owning, managing and selling a few other companies along the way, he has been able to pursue his passion for animals, formulation and production to lead a company delivering outstanding products to our customers. 

Hailing from the Black Hills of South Dakota, Casey moved to Phoenix to pursue degrees in Management, Entrepreneurship, Communication, and Political Science at Arizona State University. He went on to receive a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University. Casey has to amazing boys, that golden doodle, and lives in Phoenix with his wife, Nora. 

Dillon J. Davidson, MS | Vice President

Dillon is the Vice President for Primo Animal Health. He leads all operations, marketing and government affairs to support the overall company vision. Before joining Primo Animal Health, Dillon served as Director of State Policy for the National Pork Producers Council leading advocacy efforts at the state level to support U.S. pork producers. Dillon also served as the Senior Trade Officer for the Nevada Department of Agriculture for 6 years, leading the departments domestic and international trade programs, along with marketing and economic services.

 

Raised in rural Ohio, he has the knowledge and experience from the producer, policy and promotion of U.S. agriculture. Dillon holds a BS in international agricultural business from Wilmington College of Ohio, and a MS in international agricultural trade and policy from Oklahoma State University. Throughout his studies, he conducted research and taught farmers in East Africa on effective agricultural practices. Dillon resides in Phoenix, Arizona with his Golden Retriever, Piper.

Adolfo Orellana | Director of Sales

Adolfo is the Director of Sales at Primo Animal Health, where he leads domestic and international growth while overseeing all sales activities across the globe. He works directly with distributors and pet health brands to build scalable partnerships and drive expansion. 

He grew up in a family-owned distribution business, gaining early firsthand exposure to the animal health industry. With over 40 years in the market, the business shaped how he understands the operational, commercial, and relationship-driven realities partners face every day, along with hands-on experience in export processes and regulatory documentation required for successful market entry. 

Based in Costa Rica, Adolfo lives an active life with his two children while staying closely connected to global markets through constant travel and industry engagement.

Nora L. Jones, Esq. | Board of Directors, Chair

Nora co-founded Primo Animal Health with her husband, Casey in 2012, and has served as an outside advisor and serves as the chair of the company’s board of directors.

 

Outside of her work with Primo Animal Health, Nora is a skilled trial attorney specializing in probate and trust litigation, elder law, guardianships and conservatorships, and estate and trust administration. A recognized leader in the elder law community, Nora blends compassion and strength to resolve matters with her clients’ best interests at heart. Nora recognizes that issues in this area of law sometimes require outside the box strategies and multi-faceted solutions and employs a holistic approach to her cases to achieve client goals.

 

Nora is frequently recognized as a Top Lawyer by Phoenix Magazine and a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and has been repeatedly honored for her vision, influence, and leadership in Elder Law by Arizona Business Leaders. In addition, Nora has an AV Preeminent Rating, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards, by Martindale-Hubbell and has a Perfect 10 rating with AVVO. Nora and her team are also renowned as a top law firm for Trust and Estate Litigation by U.S. News & World Report.
